Please can a moderator change my display name??? I have tried to figure out how, and all the threads seem to be only resolved when someone asks for a moderator.

I do wish this was much easier and something already within our own control.
Username change was once under user control. Then some people stated abusing the system, causing chaos here. Spammers also has a field day. We lost some very valued helpers over their frustration with the constant "shape-shifting" and the abuse the shifters piled on legitimate helpers.
So, once again, a few selfish people who cannot control their need to cause hurt ruined something for the rest of us.
