I’m trying to figure out how to connect the USB camera adapter to the Zoom R4 and an iPad 7 with lightning. I’m very visual, so a photo or diagram would be most helpful. Thanks in advance for your help.

Apple doesn’t make anything called Zoom R4.
I suggest you contact the manufacturer of whatever that is and see what they offer as documentation.
