I posted this question 24 days ago now. STILL NO PROVEN FIX. And 18.2 is out with no solution apparently. Soooo: IS THERE NO SOLUTION FROM "APPLE CENTRAL" because they are IGNORING THE PROBLEM or... BECAUSE NO ONE in Cupertino, CA or AT ANY "GENIUS BAR" ON EARTH HAS FIGURED OUT THE PROBLEM YET? No one at MY APPLE STORE IN SYRACUSE, NY could help me, that I know.
I've had to resort to substituting CHROME and I find it not nearly as easy to use, such as adding website shortcuts to the screen of my iPhone (instead of to either Bookmarks or Reading List). COME ON APPLE COMMUNITY! Certainly SOMEONE has been successful at preventing the SEQUENTIAL CRASHES ABOUT EVERY 2 min, 45 sec.
Does that FACT give ANY GEEK ON THE PLANET a key clue into what 18.1.1 did to poor SAFARI? From the responses to my initial posting on 11/24/24, NEARLY THREE DOZEN HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME ISSUE, which RULES OUT that MY DOWNLOADING EXPERIENCE OF 18.1.1 is unique to what I had in my data, history, or cookies prior.
THAT FACT would seem to rank THIS ISSUE AS ONE THAT "APPLE CENTRAL" SHOULD'VE FIXED BY NOW AND INCLUDED IN 18.2. WHY NOT? This is an extremely annoying problem. PLEASE FIX IT, MAYBE, BEFORE CHRISTMAS DAY A WEEK FROM TODAY? Thank you.
