I have 9.51 GB of 245.11 GB storage remaining. It seems several files are duplicated.

Hello, Under locations in the Finder I see two locations: Macintosh HD and Charles' MacBook Air. At a quick glance, I am wondering if these are duplicate files and that is what is taking all my storage space up. When I went a bit deeper, system data is taking up 188.07 GB of the 245.11 GB of space. Is that normal? Thanks for any advice/help you can provide.
