Apple Watch arm numbness

Hey, I also get real bad pain and numbness in my arm. I thought it was due to a ruptured disc. I had in my neck 40 years ago, and I have been gone and got a shot in my neck and it did not help the numbness and pain. Pain seemed to be worse at night, but I always had my watch on so I’ve been sleeping with it and it has gotten better. So I googled it and other people are also getting real bad arm, numbness and pain from their Apple watches and I truly love my Apple Watch But now I can’t wear it so now I’ve spent $500 on something I cannot wear so is there anybody else out there that does this too?

Hi, I’m sorry to hear of the discomfort you’re experiencing in your arm. Watch wearers, not just Apple Watch wearers, have reported developing pain in their wrists/hands and arm ever since wrist watches were developed. This topic is nothing unique and I’m a member of several analog watch forums. Some watch wearers develop repetitive motion injuries from wearing watch or other injuries related to the weight, frequent rotation of hand and wrist, pressure of wearing bands too tight or incorrectly on their wrists.

If you’ve not already done so, please contact your primary care physician. He may refer you to an orthopedist to confirm their diagnosis and so a treatment plan can be developed.

You should also contact Apple Support at your earliest convenience. Best of luck and I hope all goes well.
