FaceTime not connecting on a Mac

My father recently bought a new iPad and since then he is unable to receive FaceTime calls - or successfully pick up incoming calls.

We have done everything on the website - rebooting the Mac, logging out and back into the iCloud account etc.

Pretty sure the iMac is on the latest MacOS version - Sequoia 15.1.1.

Any ideas?
