Can I recover text messages from a broken iPhone 11 Pro?

My phone was more or less demolished. Amazingly, it still has power, and you can still see little bits and pieces of screen display. It even chimes when new messages come in. The touch screen, however, is too badly damaged to use. I replaced it with an Android phone.

Here's my problem. The phone has a passcode on it, and as indicated above: the screen is too badly damaged to obtain access using it. All of my data is safe and sound on my iCloud account... excepting, it seems, my text threads.

Does anyone know ANY way to recover the texts?
