MAc 16 inch 2019 battery struggling to charge and running slow after 15.1.1 Sequoia update

Updated my Mac on 20th November 2024 to Sequoia 15.1.1 and since then the Mac is struggling to charge beyond 8% and the Mac is running incredibly slowly. Am I the only one experiencing this, or is this a known issue? Thanks . I have restarted twice etc.
