Automatic date and time detection does not work.

Automatic date and time detection does not work.Also in the menu the date and time zone is displayed in the USA although I am in Israel. Also, geolocation does not work in the weather and in the locator.

you can Set it manually, no harm there—the option is toggle OFF "Automatically."


I would do what works.



or from the Terminal.app copy & paste:

sudo rm /var/db/timed/com.apple.timed.plist



this will remove the corrupt plist.

(note—your psswd will not echo on screen type it in anyway, use the enter\return key to proceed. Quit Terminal.)


Reboot and compare your results.
