M4 Mac Mini shows up in Airdrop with no image (avatar?)

Using Airdrop from other devices (iPhone, iPad) works as expected. From my iPad, the iPhone and my spouse's iMac appear with names and photos. My spouse's Airdrop photo is picture of her, and the iPhone shows up as an image of the screen.

The Mini is also in the list, but the photo is a view of the hardware. I thought it was a blank circle, but it eventually filled in as a picture of the Mini itself.

Can I change the image?

After you select an image, you can adjust its look. ...
Click Save.

Thanks.

I have an image from my photo library there already.

The same image is also shown with my name for the Apple account entry on the main System Settings page and for my entry in the Contacts app.

Editing that image under Users and Groups changes it for my Apple ID, but not for AirDrop.

I also have the blank circle thing (just a white circle). But it's never filled itself in with the hardware, which would be fine by me were it to. It shows up with the Mac Mini image in my iCloud devices. Very odd.

Same is true when pulling up a list of places to listen to a call in iPhone - hit the Audio button and there's a blank next to my Mac Mini
