Language detection for Spoken Content does not work (English and Norwegian) with macOS Sequoia 15.1.1

I frequently use "spoken content" via Option-Escape to speak the selection. Since macOS Sequoia was released the language detection feature has stopped working.

No matter what I adjust in the settings for Spoken Content it will only speak English (Siri voice I think). Even if I set the language to Norwegian, it continues to try to speak the Norwegian text as English, which is not comprehensible.

If I try to adjust the settings for the Norwegian system voice (Nora), it will speak Norwegian: "Hei, jeg heter Nora." But this does not work when invoking the Spoken Content feature from Safari via Option-Escape.

If I disable language detection and select the Norwegian language, it continues to speak English even for Norwegian text. However, if I select Swedish it will read Norwegian text with a Swedish accent.

It would be fantastic if someone could help debug this further. And it would be even greater if Apple could make the Spoken Content feature just work without fail.
