Apple Maps sync issues in Sequoia

Anyone else experiencing problems with iCloud maps syncing in Sequoia? Items saved (and working) in devices aren't being synced to the desktop (an M4 iMac), and my iPhone (14 pro max) and iPad (mini 6), which are on iOS18 and ipadOS18.

In System Settings on my desktop, Maps doesn't appear in the "saved to iCloud" list in my iCloud settings, even though it's working and enabled on both the phone and the iPad, and they seem happy enough.

I'd be keen to know why the maps option isn't showing up in macOS
