How can I change the month view in the Mac Calendar app?

In the iPhone calendar app, I am able to see a one month view where only that month shows. But in the Mac app (Sequoia 15.0.1) the last few days of the previous month and the first few days of the next month are included in the view. Although they are greyed out, I still find it confusing and have entered appointments in the wrong month in the past. Is there a way to get the Mac app to behave like the iOS app in this regard?
