Podcast app running very slow on iphone

Hi,

I've noticed that my podcast app is running extremely slow on my iPhone 13.

For example: if I click on an episode to play - it either will not play on the 1st press, or it will take 30+seconds to load and start playing.

I can't exactly pinpoint why/when this happened.

Despite having fast internet, lots of storage, closing out of all other apps, and restarting my phone.

So what can I do to help my Podcast app run smoothly? Or is this something other users are experiencing?
