How to set up Ethernet on Mac mini M4

Looking at buying a Mac mini m4 - I am on Full Fibre Broadband with EE and get downloads of 700mps.

Is there any advantage upgrading from the Gigabyte Ethernet to the 10 Gigabyte Ethernet.

Mainly home office and web browsing use.

In your case, not. Stick with plain-vanilla.

Upgrading the Data Transfer Speed:

A. Acceptable Reasons to Upgrade:

For a Home Network, if you stream data(i.e. Apple TV), play games, and share files, then a faster Data Transfer Rate would be ideal. For a small business, then it would seem ideal, as well.

B. Upgrading your Modem and Router, Accordingly:

Just know that if you were to upgrade, then you'd need to have a modem and router that are both capable of handling this Data Transfer Rate.
