The display, keyboard and outershell need to be replaced

My Macbook Air M1 is split into two pieces. The display, keyboard, and outer shell need to be replaced. I want to get it fixed in the US. Do I need to mail it or take it to an Apple store in the US?

The Mac works perfectly fine with an external display. I have been using it this way for more than a year now.

Since it was forcefully split, the hinges were destroyed, that's why the outer case needs to be replaced. Is it even possible?

Anything is fixable, but what you are proposing will require replacing everything but the logic board. It's up to you but personally speaking I would buy a new Mac.

Properly prepare the broken one for sale in accordance with Apple's instructions and sell the wreckage. You'll get at least a couple hundred bucks for the logic board. Refer to What to do before you sell, give away, trade in, or recycle your Mac - Apple Support. Take photos, describe it as accurately as possible, show its "hello" screen demonstrating it's been properly prepared, and accept a return should the purchaser request it. Devote the funds to a new M3 Mac and you'll get more than you would pursuing a repair for what is already an outdated one.
