No Text bar available for Group chats on Messages app in new iPhone.

I have a new iPhone and went out of the country and got an eSIM from that country. I have a group text that was started before I went internationally. The eSIM number was added to that group chat. When I returned to the states that number was removed from the group chat and now I can’t see the text bar in that group chat for my original number with the same phone.
