Printing a booklet using Pages

Hi, I created a small booklet using pages current version 14.2, but I am having an issue trying to print it using pages. I looked at previous articles and followed the steps I don't have the same option on my printer. The steps that I followed are; FILE - PRINT - Layout - pages per sheet ( at this point my pages only go to 16, I don't have print as a booklet)

I am not sure if this is something I have to set up on my printer (Canon G3270).

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Do you not have this booklet entry on the Print panel?

That should be a function of the printer's device driver providing that feature. Get and install the Oct 2024 drivers for the Canopn G3270. Click the software & drivers box and then select macOS Sequoia v15 in the Select the version box.

You may need to upgrade the firmware from that same Canon page above:

I just rechecked the Canon specifications sheet for the G3270 and it features simplex printing though they mention duplex matte printing and don't clarify further. You need a printer capable of duplex (two-sided) printing to print booklets, and it seems to me that if the printer supported duplex, Canon would have used that terminology instead of simplex.

You can check with Canon, but I have inferred from the Canon literature that the G3270 is not a double-sided printing solution and that would explain the absence of the "Print as Booklet" menu item.
