Reset iCloud State to a specific device

Hello!

In trying to set up a new device from fresh, i attempted using my partner’s ipad where i had signed in to sync latest messages to the icloud, and then downloaded to my new phone.

I realized i took only my messages since i had signed in on the ipad, and also synced ALL of my partners messages that were local to the ipad from before into my icloud. Is there any way to revert the message state in the icloud? I don’t have any backups, but i do have the correct messages on my macbook. Any advice or ideas is appreciated thanks!
