garageband metronome no longer adjustable

Metronome cannot be adjusted with slider under settings any more. I'm running latest OS and GarageBand. Tone and Volume for metronome no longer work like it used to. Same tone, same volume no matter what the slider is at.

Mac Studio, macOS 13.6
