iPhone 13 Telephone and Message dates have the year field ending in "R6"
Started happening about 3 weeks ago. How do I reset the date field to normal?

Reiwa6 is the Japanese calendar year for 2024. It is often abbreviated as R6. Today my Mac laptop was updated to Sequoia 15.1.1. This was not the iPhone, but the R6s cleared on my iPhone and returned to normal display.
