Search doesn't work in Messages after upgrade to Sequoia 15.1

Upgraded to 15.1 on my Mac and when using Messages the SEARCH function doesn't find all those I have texted with prior to the upgrade. I have been researching and see some issues with people using VPN but I am not using one. All my texts are there but when I put a contact in the search bar the list comes up blank. After forcing a text, then I can search that person.

I have many texts to various contacts and unless I force a text to a person, they will never show up in the search results.

AIWeir, I appreciate your response and hope the Reply to my portion of the post gets posted so you can see. I have opened another Post because every time I reply to your response it never posts (just get the circle spinning for hours). I have tried multiple times and days to no avail but here is my response:

I did look at your posted link and, in fact, #1 was actually the fix. It states that if you just upgraded to Sequoia to give the system time to reindex. It started working properly on 11/14.
