When I click on my Notes App the only option I see is Folders and can create new folders but I can’t find my notes or add new ones?

Simple Fix:
Go to www.icloud.com sign in with your Apple Account and Password and check if your Notes are there. You say you sync with Mac. Do you use the same account ID and password on both your iPhone and Mac?
I believe iCloud since I sync them with my Mac? This is what it looks like now when I click on app. It used to show my notes.
My notes are within those folders - either "iCloud" or "On My iPhone". Do you know where your notes were saved?
