Why is my Safari reading list not syncing?

Just updated to Sequoia hoping it would help re Safari syncing but no luck. As I've said before everything, Notes, Reminders etc etc sync through iCloud, but not nothing syncs to Safari. It has been like this since I bought the m1 iMac a few years ago. I have done everything Apple says, in fact after updating to Sequoia I turned off Safari sync. left it for a day and turned it on today. It said do you want to merge with iCloud - yes I say - but nothing appears???

Hi, I have had the same issue, and indeed I pressed the 'Me too' button. However, I have resolved it: my Mac is on wifi with a very high speeds up and down (120+). However my Reading List stubbornly refused to sync both ways. I noticed my iCloud Photo Library needed to manually sync, it said 'poor internet connection' when it patently had a good connection. However 15.1.1 didn't agree. So today I connected via Ethernet, with apparent same speeds up/down - measured on Ookla SpeedTest - but I suppose with a more stable stream of packets and data. And lo and behold, iCloud Photo Library syncs and Reading List works both ways. I hope this helps for you. I connect via Powerline adaptors, which might be your solution if you can't reach a wired connection where your iMac is located. Good luck from the UK :)
