Calendar no longer auto-populating clients addresses from previous calendar event

For years I've enjoyed being able to type in my client's name into the title of a new calendar event, and the previous event would then auto-fill. A huge time saver and helps me avoid mistakes from having to re-enter the info. I see lots of posts complaining about this very feature and I'm wondering if it has been taken away? I mostly create new events on my iPhone 15 at the end of appointments, so I'm not entirely sure if the auto-populate was also there and now gone on the MacBook Air as well. Is there any way I can opt in to auto-populating, or is it forever gone?
