Homekit sees my ceiling fan switch as a light

I installed some Kasa Smart Wi-Fi switches that are matter enabled. They've worked great with my HomePod and HomeKit. I recently installed more of the switches, this time used to operate my ceiling fans. They work, but HomeKit sees the fans a lights and I can't seem to indicate to HomeKit that they are ceiling fans.

This is annoying because when I tell Siri to turn on the living room lights, it also turns on the ceiling fan! Anyone found a work around? Maybe Apple can fix the issue with an update.
