I added/enrolled my wife in the Family Sharing feature on our iPhones. Several problems ensued on my wife’s iPhone including:
-losing text messages to her son
-emails to me being lost
-constantly badgered about not hanging enough cloud storage even after agreeing to the $2.xx per month fee.
I am going to see if the Genius Bar can sort this all out. Let me know if you can offer any advice

If she accepted family sharing, there is no change to any of her data, purchases, etc. Her Apple ID is still hers, data just counts against the family share space. It sounds as if she may have signed out of her account?
Typically losing things involves somebody creating an account when they were previously sharing one. Were you? If you were and she made her own, you have to be very careful about how to do the transfer, while at the same time accepting that some things cannot be transferred.
I won't type a long message about what to do unless I know that is what was involved here.
She has two accounts. I don’t know why. One has a Mac.com email address. That old/original. The other her normal email address.
I deleted her from the Family Sharing and tested forwarding and texts. They seem to work now. No clue what happened to the lost emails.
