Connecting Apple Studio Display to a Mac Studio 12 meters away

I am considering buying a Studio Display for a Mac Studio. The problem is, the computer is 12 meters away, rack mounted in a dedicated machine room. Right now I have 2 displays connected via HDMI without problems.

Has anybody experience with active (optical) thunderbolt cables over long distances connecting a Studio Display? Can't find anything in the web about that. Also I only found optical thunderbolt cables from Corning for an insane price. Are there alternatives?
