Apple home and Eufy cam 2C Pro issues.

Brief back story-- I have 5 Eufy 2C Pro & 2 P24 cams (spread over 3 Eufy home bases) and 1 Aqara G2H in the home app. My plan allows unlimited cams.

They all worked flawlessly until I loaded the 5th 2C Pro camera. Eufy says you can have up to 4 cameras loaded on one base that will work in Apple Home. I have them split 2 & 3 on bases- (the 2 P24s are not on a base).

My problem/issue is when I added the 5th 2C pro it loaded to Home fine BUT shows as a black screenshot and unresponsive. If I change "stream & allow recording" to just "stream" I can sometimes get a live or old snapshot but is still unresponsive in the Home app. Also when "stream & allow recording" is selected it WILL affect video in the Eufy app as well. It makes a 10sec video jerky and play fast ( like in 3sec). Otherwise everything work as it should in the Eufy app.

I guess either app could be the problem but since the first four work well in both apps I'm leaning towards an Apple Home issue.

Any ideas or suggestions?

FWIW a update:

I decided to leave the camera in question connected in Home and after couple weeks things settled done and it started working as intended.

WHY? As we used to say in Military electronics... FM. Short for Fing magic! I changed nothing, I have no answers. Sorry

I did change it back to "stream and allow recording" on day one and waited. It will record to the apple cloud now and detected motion will turn on turn on a spotlight connected in Home. Also the quirky video in the Eufy app it now working correctly as well.

I wouldn't say its 100% but with few exceptions seems to be working as intended.
