HOW TO DISABLE CONTACT POSTER showing next to each text.

Hey All!

New IOS updates have annoying features - One is the contact poster appearing next to a person's name in a Message thread. I don't need to see their picture as I know who it is by name ;-). I have found no way at all how to disable this. It is annoying and a useless waste of space. I know this has come up before on other forums. No solutions yet? Please assist. Have tried different ways to remove to no avail! Thanks.

BD, Thank you. Let me restate my community question above. It is not MY Contact Poster i am looking to disable. It is each and every contact poster for a person that appears in RECENT CALLS and now MESSAGES on iPhone after IOS upgrades being rolled out. With the IOS upgrade EVERYONE who is in recent calls log NOW has their names and Contact Poster appear - it is now no longer just the person's name or number. Same holds true now with the CATEGORY showing next to an email on iPhone - even if you are not using the new categories feature to organize your emails. See screenshot below. for a call log sample. I can not find a way to disable. Regards. lisa

BD, here is a sample of an email folder. Not a direct folder for privacy reasons, but a TRASH folder. They all layout the same. It is too cluttered and overkill. Hard to focus on the sender or content when you see a category picture you did not ask for, need or want. There should be a disable feature for Categories if you are using the LIST mode as your request is not to categorize. Many folks have no need to categorize emails. I hope this helps clarify what I am looking for. Lisa

K Shaffer. Thank you and I did send feedback. Bottom line I am asking the community on how to disable as perhaps a community member came across the choices to turn it off?. OR, What if there is some menu that allows this? That is why I posted in first place...thinking someone the community might know of a way to turn off. But happy to attack at all angles. Lisa
