Help! Image tab does not appear and I can't remove image background

I have uploaded both .jpg and .png images, but no image tab appears. Is there another way to remove an image background?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.0

"More info" missing for jpg files - why?? "More info" missing for jpg files I need to quickly see the pixel dimensions of jpg files, but this area is sometimes blank with just "--" in the space where it should be displayed. Why isn't this working like it should be? Many thanks for any help.
