My pages is crashing constantly!!!
My pages app has been crashing!! I have tried safemode, reduced RAM usage, updated my laptop
MacBook Air 13″
Posting a crash dump here is pointless as we are fellow users and the Pages product team does not participate here. I am using Pages v14.2 on macOS Sequoia v15.1 and it has never crashed.
Here is what you haven't shared:
- Have you installed any anti-virus or run any so-called third-party macOS "cleaner" utilities?
- Attempted to alter the contents of the Pages application or any associated preferences file?
- Is the operating system (and Pages) installed on and booted from an external drive?
- Did Pages crash the same way in Safe Boot mode either upon launch or attempting to open the same document?
- If not, then some third-party product that was not loaded in Safe Boot mode is potentially the reason for it crashing in normal Boot mode.
- If yes, there are other issues.
- After Safe Boot mode and a normal restart, does Pages still crash?
What you should try next is to intervene with Pages automatically attempting to load its last saved execution state. To do that, you press and hold the shift key while launching Pages. Does it still crash?
