I just noticed today that Search is no longer working correctly in my Calendar app. It appears that old appointments, prior to iOS18 I'm guessing, do not show in the search results. But new appointments, entered since the update are working. Has anyone else experienced this and/or fixed it?

Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Show All, turn off iCloud Calendar, keep your data if prompted, restart the iPhone and turn back on iCloud Calendar. Wait a few minutes for the search index to be rebuilt before trying to search.

I just set a new 16 pro and it would not work, and after working in a chat, General>Settings> Apps>Calendar> Search
toggle show content in search off and back on. Worked right away
