My MacBook Air is unresponsive on the right side

The right hand side of my MacBook Air (2020) doesn’t respond to any commands. This includes opening folders or when on any intern browser. For a browser if I move it a more central position of the screen it works (as in I can use my touch trackpad etc). I can access folders from the apple symbol on the top left but anything on the right doesn’t work. I restarted the computer several times but no luck.

Solution for me - Quitting Grammarly desktop for Mac. The right side of the screen was unclickable. Mouse moved fine, but couldn't click on the area in photo. I'll check with Grammarly and see if they have a solution and update.

UPDATE: Reinstalling the Grammarly App from the web browser version worked. No problem now.

A long shot, but if you have Grammarly installed, try quitting it. One user posted that when he quit Grammarly the problem with the screen being partly unresponsive ceased.

Exactly the same issue. Happening on the same day it seems. Also, MacBook Air 2020. Did Apple generate this malfunctioning on purpose?
