Safari Glitch In Downtime. When Hit One More Minute, Only Gives One Second

So, my default browser for email is Safari. I do this to not clog up my chrome tabs with random email links.

Only thing is that during downtime if I add either 1 more minute or approve 15 min when prompted, it immediately shuts down after 1 second of access. Might even be half a second honestly. I can override this by then clicking to approve for 15 min or switching apps and coming right back but then I’ve either run out of most of my minute OR approved for longer than I want. It’s soooo frustrating.

It also makes me do this for every kind of site. Each time I have to enter my password and wait for the flipping hourglass. Chrome doesn’t do either thing. But I don’t want to change my default browser for my quick pre-bed email checking of things. A lot of time it’s just unsubscribing to stuff or quickly checking some news links and it’s a total pain. Or it’s clicking a link on one site and then having to do it again.

Fixes?

iPhone 13 mini, iOS 18
