Apple Business Essentials

Does Apple Business Essentials include AppleCare? I have a staff member with a damaged MacBook Air that is covered by ABE and I thought it was covered by AppleCare as part of the subscription but Googling doesn't indicated that and I don't see ABE as a community topic.

AppleCare on a MacBook from a third party retailer? I'm in Canada and TheSource currently has some MacBooks on sale, and if I get one would it be possible to still get that Applecare+ annual plan from apple?
