MacOs 15 no longer allows access to locked notes via Touch Bar

In the past prior to updating, I could access notes with my finger print. After updating to MacOs Sequoia, I have lost the ability to access/reset forgotten passwords to locked notes via the notes app through the touch bar finger print reader. I have called & spoken with support several times now. I have submitted logs & screen recordings & was told it was a bug/fault in the new Os. And that i'm essentially SOL. I have essential information in a specific locked note. ******PLEASE HELP******
