Hi again. Realised what I did wrong. When I set the language to US English I did so in Siri setting but not in language and region setting in General settings. Took a while for the penny to drop. Sorted now. Thanks again.

I honestly think that is kinda stupid, apple could call in our phones to upgrade the ram. But whatever, guess I’ll js have to buy a new phone. Would an iPhone 14 work?

It is impossible to increase the amount of RAM or internal storage in your iPhone - as this is fixed during manufacture; what you have is fixed for the life of your device.  You can subscribe to a higher tier of iCloud storage - but this is not a substitute for internal system resources.

Idk if this is true but I feel like it is. I think that lightning cables charge my phone faster than phone that use type c. Would you be able to find someone who could test this theory out for me?

It is true that the lighting cable has been replaced by USB-C. Many governments enacted rules to have a single charging standard to reduce landfill waste.

As for a speed comparison, here are a couple comparisons:

USB-C cables typically offer faster charging speeds compared to Lightning cables. USB-C supports a maximum current of 3A with the possibility of going up to 5A, while Lightning cables max out at 2.4A. Fast charging on iPhones usually requires a USB-C to Lightning cable and at least a 20W power adapter. Overall, USB-C is better for fast charging.

USB-C offers a higher power delivery rate than Lightning and delivers a faster charge under the same voltage. Whereas Lightning supports a maximum current of 2.4A, USB-C carries 3A with support for up to 5A. This distinction makes USB-C much better for fast charging, as it supports the USB Power Delivery fast-charging standard.

There is absolutely no basis in fact on your belief. A lightning cable was nothing more than a proprietary cable, which could only be used on iPhone or other Apple devices. USB C is no less capable of charging an iPhone in any way, shape or form.

Same here. Did it fix?

I have an iphone 15 pro and i was previously able to use apple intelligence and could see the new siri UI but i just updated to ios 18.2 and i can’t anymore. I can still see the Apple intelligence option but it doesn’t have chatgpt in it anymore. My siri has switched to the older version. I tried restarting the phone many times. What should i do?
