iPhone 16 Plus randomly blacking out
iPhone 16 suddenly black out twice now after using it.

Just normal usage on phone and sudden black out and takes long time to restart

I have had the same thing happen a number of times. No predictable pattern. Again this morning with a FULL charge (so its not a low battery).
I get a call, slide to answer and phone just shuts down immediately. It does take a while to restart, but I don't notice it taking longer than a normal power-cycle.
Phone is running v18.0.1 and received it late September.
My screen will go black when I'm texting. Happens rarely but should not happen at all.
I asked what you were doing, because if you are actively on a phone call the screen is designed to black out if you hold it to your face so you don’t tap any buttons. And sometimes a case not designed for the phone can block the sensor that manages this feature. If you were not on a phone call there is a problem that is likely to be hardware.
What are you doing when it blacks out?
