Previously deleted albums reappearing as 'undefined' in Apple Music library
I've noticed a peculiar issue where albums I previously deleted from my Apple Music web application library are appearing as undefined entries, but only in specific places:
- Apple Music web application: Shows these deleted albums as grey placeholder icons with undefined listed as their information
- Sonos library: The same deleted albums appear
- Native Apple Music app: These deleted albums don't appear at all (working as expected)
The undefined entries show up with the default music note icon instead of album artwork, and both the artist and album information are marked as undefined. This seems to be a synchronisation issue between different platforms accessing my Apple Music library.
Has anyone else encountered this inconsistency between the web player, Sonos, and the native Apple Music app? How can I completely remove these phantom undefined entries so they don't appear in the Apple Music web player and Sonos?
