iOS Notes overload?

I am glad Notes is on my iPad Pro. Favorite native iOS app; dark mode always. But if I give it too many drawing commands, Notes will crash. And the same if I re-open it and continue to work on the file. I think around 200 - 300 actions — including ‘computer easy,’ repetitive commands — is where it starts to become iffy. Occasionally I can go far beyond that estimated command limit, but never since iOS 18!

Also it can’t seem to handle white flashes! The contrast will go super-low for several seconds. During a movie or video. Hate that. Gen 5 never did that.

I wonder what David Hockney does for his iPad art. He must know about iOS limitations
