After the IOS 18.0.1 update, I can no longer use my microphone or camera on other apps. It tells me to go to settings to enable microphone and camera and when I go there, there is no microphone or camera settings to switch on.

I found the solution finally! You just have to make a smooth reboot and that’s it. Push the + button, then the - bottom, and finally maintain pushed the on/off button until the screen goes completely black. An that’s it, all the apps to be authorize will appear. Regards.

Have you tried going to Settings -> *The app you want to grant microphone and camera access to*? There you should see toggles to allow the app to access the microphone and camera. Like this:
I am having the exact same problem. Happened today. Can’t use What’s App for example. If I go to settings I don’t have the option to allow access to photos or microphone so I can’t change them. Same in Photos etc. Simply don’t exist. Really frustrating.

Try deleting WhatsApp and reinstalling. The first time you launch it, it should ask for permissions.
