Unable to delete messages and turn off iPad
iPad 10th generation is brand new and apparently has some bugs. First it won’t delete my messages so I tried powering off and it won’t turn off. Help

You should be able to easily shut-down your iPad from settings:
Settings > General > Shut Down
You can also access shut-down from the Control Centre:
