iPad Pro 11-inch (M4) Wi-Fi + Cellular 2024 overheating

iPad Pro 11-inch (M4) Wi-Fi + Cellular 2024 overheats! Anyone else having the same issue?

Also, the battery doesn’t last more than 5-6 hours.

Hello Setka,

For overheating problems, please read this support article:--> If your iPhone or iPad gets too hot or too cold

For battery problems, it can depend on the activity you're doing in those "5-6" hours.

For both problems (and for your peace of mind), since your iPad is covered by warranty, I suggest that you contact Apple Support directly, using this link:--> Contact Apple for support and service , or (even better) make an appointment (*) and have your device+charger+cable inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> https://locate.apple.com/choose-country-region . After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.

Regards

Giulio

If your iPad is actually overheating, unless faulty, it will automatically take steps to limit the generation of heat - either by reducing performance or screen brightness - or in extreme cases will shut-down operation all together until the temperature falls to within the iPad's normal working range.

If your iPhone or iPad gets too hot or too cold - Apple Support

It is not unusual for an iPad to become warm when being used - more so when using some types of iPad case. High screen brightness and/or CPU intensive Apps will also create more heat.

The key point is that whilst your iPad may become very warm in normal use, the iPad should not become uncomfortably hot to handle. If your iPad is becoming too hot to hold, you should take your iPad along to the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians can examine and test your iPad for faults:
