Someone took my phone and then returned it the next day, for me to notice some setting changes had been done. Also I keep getting notifications on Facebook saying an unauthorized user signed into my account. How can I stop this? What do I need to do besides change my password? I feel like they know every time it gets changed.

A. Verify your Devices:
Verify that all devices are logged in to your account, by using this link: Check your Apple ID Device List to See where you're Signed in - Apple Support
B. Modify your Credentials:
Having been stollen, someone likely has your credentials. So, by all means, consider modifying them.
If your iPhone reportedly wanders off and then mysteriously re-appears and with changes, you have physical and electronic security issues well beyond what anyone here can address. As part of this, you’re reporting a compromise of your device passcode, and likely also your Apple Account.
This means a complete security reset including all passwords and all passcodes, and a reset without a restore:
But if your devices might still wander off and your passcode gets compromised, there’s not much that anybody can offer.
