Can’t move emails from inbox to subfolders

I select the email I want to move, click on move, then it briefly shows me the list of subfolders but then within a second or 2 it reverts back to the inbox.

I can move messages using the outlook app but not the Mail app.

I have deleted the account and re added it, restarted the app, restarted the phone and still does the same.

Can any one help?
