Importing a PAGES document into KEYNOTE

I have a document created in PAGES and I would like to make it a presentation in KEYNOTE.

What is the process to do this?

Thanks!

Pages is a word-processing application and Keynote is a presentation application. It is not designed to open or import Pages documents.

However, you can export the Pages document as a PDF, open that PDF in Preview's thumbnail view, and drag and drop the specific PDF thumbnail from Preview onto the Keynote slide. That would provide better content resolution in Keynote than if you exported the Pages document to images and then placed the respective image onto a Keynote slide.
