Finder search not working on servers

This isn't a Sequoia issue since I've had this problem for over 10 years now.

But it seems impossible to do a search on a server with Finder Search. When I try nothing shows up.

If I search a local folder it's found in an instant.

My colleagues who use a PC don't have this issue, so I hope apple will finally some day sort this issue out.
