Age 17+ apps won't install on Apple Watch

I recently got a new phone and all of a sudden, any apps rated age 17+ (such as Carrot Weather) won't install on my Apple Watch. There are no Screen Time restrictions, no MDM policy getting the way.

I've tried:

  • Unpairing and repairing the watch
  • Uninstalling and installing the Watch app on my phone
  • Resetting the watch completely


Nothing works and it's driving me crazy! There's got to be a setting that I'm missing. Help!
