Change my sharing device

I have tried to change my iPhone sharing address to my iPad when I’m out at times when I want some privacy from Family, however it is great out. I have everything allowed and have tried everything that is suggested. Is there anything else I could try?

You can only share location from a device directly on the device you want to share it from. You cannot set the shared location remotely.

That is, you cannot fake your location, sorry. You need to have access to the iPad to change the shared location to it.
